WeReachOut Update with its upcoming Promotional Event on 28th May 2011

Dear Friends,

Hope you are doing great, we were quite for sometimes simply focused on catching up with some of our backlogs, establishing contacts with service minded hearts and promote WeReachOut services to reach out to more deserving students in need across India.

Following are some of the updates we feel worth sharing with all of you to begin our sponsorship process for 2011.

1.       53 students have been benefited from our educational sponsorship program in 2011.

2.       We hosted WeReachOut students and coordinators meeting in Nagercoil on 31st December 2010 in India. Mr. Masilamani, a literary Speaker who received the National Presidential Award in the 80s and the Kalaimamani Award in 2009 and 2011 (http://www.thehindu.com/news/states/tamil-nadu/article1134445.ece ) was the chief guest for this meeting, his inspiring message to our students from his lifetime experience to do better in school/college and get involved in any social development activities to make a difference in other life irrespective of all the challenges was truly a motivation for all of us listening to his message at this meeting.

3.       Integrated with social media services like Facebook, Twitter to promote WeReachOut services through our contacts. Please visit our face book page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/WeReachOut/172802122746169 and share with your friends to create awareness about WeReachOut.

4.       We are going to set up a food stall at BATS Club Volleyball Tournament on 28th May 2011 to create awareness and raise fund for 2011 sponsorship. There will be more than 20 teams enrolled for this event and it will give us an opportunity to spread the word about WeReachOut services outside of our network.

How can you help us serve more students in 2011?

1.       For Existing Sponsors: Please check your current balance at WeReachOut and let us know your plan for this yearís sponsorship. We will be assigning a needy student from the requests we receive from our volunteers to benefit from your unused balance, if you donít have a student of your choice for sponsorship in 2011. Please let us know if you are planning to identify and sponsor deserving students from your effort to make your balance useful to someone in need without delay.

2.       For Everyone in Bay Area: We are looking for some volunteers and sponsors to help us setup Food Stall at BATS Club Volleyball Tournament on 28th May 2011. The plan will be to sell around 150 lunch boxes in this event and you can help us prepare the following based on your interest.

-          Curd Rice, Lemon Rice, Samosa with chutney and Tea or Coffee

-          Help us sell these items and promote WeReachOut services at the event

3.       Identify Needy Students: Itís a crucial moment for many +2 and 10th standard students to choose right track if they are in a difficult situation without much support and financial backup. So please check with your parents, teachers, other local contacts in India to identify well deserving students who can benefit from your sponsorship.

4.       Volunteer to Promote WeReachOut:We are constantly looking for volunteers to make this platform useful to many sponsors and well wishers to make a difference in others life through personalized educational sponsorship programs towards eradicating child labor in India. So please let us know if you are interested in joining our team to promote this reach out program.

Note: We will be meeting in Santa Clara next Saturday (21st May 2011) at 10:00 am to plan for WeReachOut Food Stall setup at BATS Club Volleyball Tournament on 28th May 2011, please let me know if you are interested in helping us by sponsoring any of the expenses to prepare this food or volunteering your time at the stall to sell or promote WeReachOut services.
