Thank You for Making 2nd Annual Ladies Throwball Tournament a Huge Success!

Greetings,

It’s again my pleasure to meet you through our monthly Newsletter to be advised of WeReachOut progress and upcoming events.

WeReachOut hosted 2nd Annual Ladies Throwball event on Aug 29th in Newark CA, which has become one of our record breaking events. The event generated sponsorship for 66 students with everyone’s support and whole hearted contributions. We are absolutely thrilled to have your support again this year.

On behalf of the WeReachOut, we would like to thank and acknowledge everyone’s effort for helping to make this year’s Throwball Event a grand success. It wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of countless people who participated in the tournament, volunteers who help prepare for the event ahead of time, work during the event itself and stayed until the final cleanup. WeReachOut is humbled by your dedication and support and we salute you.

There are numerous people to thank and with the fear of missing someone, we wanted to take this opportunity and thank everyone from bottom of our heart. Nearly 40+ volunteers had dedicated their countless hours’ time, before, during and after the event to make this a memorable experience for everyone. Starting from a month long prep-work by the Throwball Committee, ground prep team who started as early as 7:30AM, registration desk/team, hospitality team, referees, food, water and juice committee, photography team, cleanup team to each and every contributor, we once again bow our heads and extend our heartfelt thanks.

WeReachOut head Coaches were the true backbone of this effort and did an extraordinary job in taking the ownership and coordinating this event. Thank you head coaches for everything you have done to make this day a success!

I would be remiss if I did not thank our individual sponsors who supported the event whole heartedly without any expectations and our corporate sponsors for promoting the organization and taking pride in giving back to the local community. Your generosity is humbling and inspiring. With the help of our sponsors and philanthropist, WeReachOut continues to fulfill WeReachOut’s charter.

Here is a quick recap of our 2nd Annual Women's Throwball Tournament (08/29/2015):

#1) 24 Teams, 144 players participated from all over the Bay area and Sacramento. A total of 250+ people witnessed in the event

#2) 24 students are sponsored by the registration fees collected and 42 students are sponsored by the individual sponsors. Each team is assigned one student. Additionally, multiple Throwball teams have sponsored additional students.

#3) In total 66 Students are sponsored by 45 sponsors in total which includes net new 25 sponsors.
